Athina Diamanti

Athina Diamanti is an associate of the EILST and an attorney-at-law in Athens, Greece. Athina has joined the team at EILST in their efforts to establish a Climate Change Center for the Mediterranean and the Middle East in order to responsibly manage the effects of Global Climate Change.

Athina holds law degrees from the Kapodestrian University in Athens, Greece (LL.B.) and the Maximilians Universitaet in Munich, Germany (LL.M.) and is active in the field of Trade and Company Law and economic law, especially in matters related to European law on public procurement. Athena is further a consultant on environmental and energy law issues. As a Member of the Greek Society for Technology and Construction Law she has taken part in comparative surveys regarding the works contracts in European countries and is currently specializing in the field of sustainable energy sources and the aviation emissions’ trading system in Europe.

She speaks Greek, English, German and Italian and is a Member of the Athens Bar Association.
