Ms. Pavlopoulou is our expert in both Corporate Social Responsibility and universities alumni relations and research cooperation.

Ioanna is a lawyer and claims handler, member of the Athens Bar Association since 1990 and an in-house claims handler for the group of companies of Hellenic Star Shipping Company and litigator before the Greek courts on labor, corporate, tax, contract and property law issues, as well as on shipping, immigration, banking and international law cases.

Ioanna holds a first degree in law from the Law Faculty of the University of Athens, Greece, with the highest honors, a Master of Science ( MSc in Maritime Operations ) from LIVERPOOL John Moores University) and a Master of Laws ( LL.M. in Common Law Studies) from GEORGETOWN Graduate Law School (1989) in Washington D.C.

Ioanna has been President of the Georgetown University Alumni Club of Greece (GUACG), since June 2005, Chairman of the Georgetown Alumni Admissions Committee for Greece and Cyprus since 2003 and a member of the same committee, since 1990, Member of WISTA Hellas (Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association) and Member of AHI (American Hellenic Institute), D.C., U.S.A.

She speaks Greek, English, French and German.
