Wildfires and Climate Change in the Euro-Mediterranean Countries

Viewing the recent wild fires totaling to extensive forest destruction in the South European countries, due, among others, to environmental degradation and climate change phenomenon, the European Institute of Law, Science and Technology (EILST) has undertaken pro bono a major, large-scale project regarding reconstruction and region-building. Our first case study is Southwestern Greece, and specifically the Municipality of Zacharo, since forest destruction due to wild fires has been the fiercest there.
