On Thursday 29 and Friday 30 November, the European Particle Physics Communication Network (EPPCN) will hold its autumn meeting at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) at the Zografou Technical University.

The EPPCN was created in 2006 at the DESY German Research Center, Zeuthen, within the framework of the European Particle Physics Strategy. It is a network for the collaboration of professionals in the field of science communication from each CERN member state. The mission of the EPPCN network is to support and strengthen science communication in the Member States through the cooperation of EPPCN and CERN members.

The members of the EPPCN network meet twice a year in one of the Member States to review work, exchange of views and best practices on communication at CERN and Member States, agree on decisions on the network communication strategy, and to propose and implement communication activities.

Dr. Eleni Chatzichristou, deputy director of EURILST, is the representative of Greece at the European Particle Physics Communication Network.
